How we calculate estimated commission saved
We show estimated “commissions saved” by comparing each sale to a typical full-service listing commission on the last known asking price.
- No buyer’s agent = the entire commission was avoided.
- Buyer’s agent involved = roughly half the commission (the listing side) was avoided.
Examples (Ontario @ 5%):
- No buyer’s agent: $1,000,000 × 5% = $50,000
- With buyer’s agent: $1,000,000 × 5% × 0.5 = $25,000
